Ever wish you could step behind the scenes and see how a professional portrait session unfolds from start to finish? My Behind the Lens mentorship offers photographers the opportunity to observe a live client session and gain insight into my workflow, client interaction, posing transitions, communication style, and overall session experience. This observational mentorship includes up to 20 minutes of discussion before the session and up to 20 minutes afterward for questions, feedback, and reflection. During the session itself, participants are strictly observers and should remain a quiet, unobtrusive presence. To protect the client experience and allow the session to unfold naturally, questions, coaching discussions, and interruptions are reserved for the pre- and post-session conversations only. Think of this as a true "fly on the wall" experience—an opportunity to watch, listen, and learn from a real-world portrait session as it happens.
