A. Session Fee & Edits: This is a non-refundable fee. This fee covers the time and talent of photographer, basic retouching and creative editing of images, as determined by the photographer, and a gallery of images. Editing includes light retouching (ie, skin retouching). Edits beyond the basic scope of work will be charged accordingly. (ie, braces removal, slimming, clothing adjustments)
B. Late Clients: Limited edition sessions are photographed back to back. If you are late to your time slot, it will cut into your time. If you miss your time slot entirely, you will have forfeited your session. No refunds will be given for missed sessions.
C. Proofing: A gallery of client’s images will be available for viewing within 1-2 weeks of the session date in a watermarked password-protected web-gallery. Images that come with the session will be selected and sent without the watermark. A rush fee of $75 can be paid to expedite your gallery. The gallery will remain active for 2 weeks for clients to select favorites and to place orders. If the client needs additional time, a $50 archival fee will be assessed to reinstate the gallery for an additional two weeks.
D. Ordering: Due to the custom nature of each session, all sales are final. Client must be absolutely sure of their purchase prior to the end of your ordering session, as print orders are placed to our professional lab within one to two (1-2) business day(s) of your session. There are absolutely NO refunds on digital products.
E. Payment: All payments are due in full prior to the session unless payment arrangements have been made. If full payment is not made, the session will not take place. Print orders will not be processed until payment in full is received. If client has arranged a payment plan, order will be placed after the final payment has been received.
F. Damages: Photographer is not responsible for the damage of portraits after delivery to client, including damage caused during transit by US mail. Client assumes all responsibility for the safety of all portraits upon receipt. All portraits sent via USPS can be insured and require delivery confirmation upon client’s request and at client’s expense.
G. Liability: Photographer is not responsible for any injuries inflicted upon any participating parties. Client(s) will be responsible for their children and for themselves and release photographer from any claims against their person or their business.
H. Copyright & Penalty: Casey Craig of Elated Photography retains all copyrights to all images created during client’s session. A print release may be purchased with digital files to print portraits for personal use up to designated size listed on print release. It is illegal to copy, scan, download, print, share, or alter any image created by Elated Photography during client’s photo session.
I. In the event of rain, there will be a rain date selected. If you are unable to attend the rain date, your fee will be transferred to a credit for a regular portrait session with Elated Photography.
